Our aim is to support the development of an efficient and effective local school-led self-improving educational system in which all Alliance schools play an active role in collaborating to support each other to improve educational outcomes for all children.
Staff from Alliance schools collaborate through both formal and informal staff training opportunities in which they share effective practice. They also attend meetings of Alliance groups such as SENCos, EYFS practitioners, senior leaders groups, etc - all focused on supporting each other and sharing effective practice.
Alliance schools are actively encouraged to generate the agenda to ensure collaborative work is clearly focused on meeting the needs of the children attending Alliance schools. Many collaborative activities are school-led and designed to meet the specific needs of small groups of Alliance schools to address similar specific needs.
Alliance schools have the opportunity to share performance data and use this information to identify, develop and target appropriate CPD and support for individual and groups of schools. In this way the capacity for Alliance schools to continue to provide support for others has been enhanced.
