All applications are made through the UCAS portal and we will receive it once your references have been up-loaded. These are then reviewed by senior colleagues from both the North Shropshire Teaching School Alliance and Darwin Learning Partnership. We will look at your application, experience and qualifications and will invite you to interview in school if your application meets our criteria. If you are unsuccessful at this stage we will inform you via the UCAS Track facility.
If you are successful we will invite you to interview at school. The interview will include a mini-teach activity, a formal interview and a written task. The specific interview programme will be sent you in advance. Interviews will be staged throughout November to July, dependent on the number of places and successful applicants. Our advice is to apply as early as possible.
If you are successful you will either be offered a conditional or unconditional place on the Shropshire School Direct programme you have applied for. A conditional place may be based on the successful completion of your degree if you are still at university or on the basis of passing your Skills Tests or gaining more experience observing in an Early Years, primary or secondary school as appropriate.
